Donna was born in Scotland and raised in a small town to the west of London. She graduated with an internationally recognised ITEC Diploma of Beauty Therapy from a specialist college near Henley-on-Thames, and her career and passion for holistic therapy began.
In her mid-twenties, she set off on a working holiday to Australia and Southeast Asia, eventually landing in Perth, where she has remained ever since.
Having purchased The Beauty Studio in 2003, from her then employer, Sally Starling, Donna’s passion for skincare and well-being continues to run deep. As the lead therapist and Reiki practitioner, Donna feels a natural connection to treating the body and the mind together.
“Making people feel good about themselves is a state of mind. So for me, Reiki is as much a spiritual practice as meditation is.”
Donna is a natural teacher dedicated to ongoing development of herself and her team. She encourages personal growth and has completed courses in the UK and Australia on Electrolysis, IPL, Lymphatic Drainage, Massage, Non-Surgical Facelift, Nutritional Skincare, Reiki, Skin Needling, and various other advanced techniques.
Believing that beauty is for everyone, she has sensitively set about creating a welcoming and nurturing environment for all guests who visit The Beauty Studio.

She decided early on that the business would offer a wide-ranging treatment menu rather than specialising in one area alone. As a result, Donna and her team of Beauties are now regarded as a steady presence in the Western Suburbs, consistently providing the highest beauty standards and advanced dermal therapy.
